Counting House Apply

Terms · last updated 12 September 2026

The terms this site is read on

Short, because the site sells nothing and asks for nothing. Reading on means accepting them.

What this site is

A description of Counting House, a private house for artists that is now accepting applications, published by the people building it. It is not an offer to provide a service, not a solicitation and not a prospectus. Nothing on it creates a contract, a subscription, an account or an obligation on either side. No price appears on it, because none has been set.

What is open and what is not

The house is private. A place in it comes by application and by introduction, and an application is not an acceptance. No shop in the house has yet sold to the public, and no payment is taken through this site or, for now, through the house.

The works on the home page

The works shown are from Feverglass, the house's own collection, where they are sold and nowhere else. Feverglass says on its own site that its art is machine-made and that the brief behind each piece is not; that statement holds here. The three collections on view, Widescreen Sublime, Sell By and Soft Apocalypse, depict no real product, business or person. The artists the house is accepting are not shown yet; when they join, their own work joins the page.

Use of the material

You may read, quote and share this site. You may not present any part of it as a promise that a shop is open, that a payment can be taken, or that the house has accepted an application it has not.

Liability

The site is provided as it is, as a description of a house being built, and its authors accept no liability for decisions taken on the strength of it.

Who to ask

Counting House is a house before it is a company; the legal entity that will stand behind it is not yet formed. Questions about these terms go back to whoever sent you the link. Nothing on this page takes away any right you have under the law where you live.
